Have you ever had a bad day and tried to look on the brighter side by telling yourself tomorrow will be better? Well don't. The truth is it will not be better and i just proved it today.

Just went i thought it couldn't get worse, it did. Today i lost the cross pendent of the gold chain my grandmother gave me last Christmas during work. How am i suppose to tell her i lost it?? And it was real gold specially crafted for my grandmother! I feel so horrible now. Hopefully the morning shift people are able to find it and pass it to me.

P.S. My right eye is swollen and the new manager who started working at t3 yesterday starting being a bitch today.

i forgot to add the incident in the bus yesterday.

I was going to the airport so before going into t3 there will be this stop where the security personal will check the bus. So the man came onto the bus and started checking the seats. In the back seat of the bus (on the seat behind my seat) there was this faded old fila bag. So the man asked whose is this, but no one responded. Then he asked the bus driver to park his bus at the side. After a while, he came onto the bus again and asked for our ICs. Then left the bus. After 5 minutes or so he came onto the bus and returned our ICs saying we can go. We all had to climb on board another bus to go to the aiport. Thank God i wan't late for work.

Today was such a horrible day!

I just found out that i have to go for work from 3 to 11pm tomorrow when i told them i have an engagement at night so i can do the afternoon shift. But apparently some guy changed the schedule and it cannot be changed back. Urghhhhh... Now i'm going to miss chingay practice!! Fine... i don't really mind missing that even though i don't want to. But i'm not going to work on my brithday or christmas! And if they do put me on those days i'm not going to show up at all. I already told you i can't work on those days!

Today was my first day at work!

My colleagues were very friendly and helpful. Though one of the managers was really weird. She asked me how long have i been a Singapore citizen and if i went back to my home country... The kitchen staff were all really surprised when i spoke Chinese.

There was not much customers during the 12 to 4 shift, so thankfully most of my time spent was used standing around and looking at the menu. I even have to bring home the menu to memorise it. And i also have to know how to make the cocktails, sake and all the other "special" drinks. Its so ridiculous that i can't even drink alcoholic drinks (not 18 yet >.<) and yet i have to make it.

Today i went to meet Suzu at east point after her work. As i was walking into east point, i received a call from her. She told me to look up at the 4th floor. I took extremely long to find her and was standing there like some idiot. I bought my cheapo black shoes today for work tomorrow. I'm finally going to start but i'm so worried that i'll screw up and get scolded. Oh wells, wish me luck!

I just painted my nails and its really hard to type now since the polish has not dried yet. Well.... 3 days ago, Eli, Ian, Aunty Lyn and me went cycling. We cycled through the abandoned road to the beach. The grass was overgrown, covering the path and there were fallen trees we had to cross. The journey was not smooth sailing - we had to cycle uphill then downhill then uphill again. It was really tiring. (>_<)
The day before yesterday, i received a call from sakae sushi asking me if i am able to start work. So i'll be working this Sat at Changi Aiport T3 so do drop by if you're free! Hopefully i won't screw up or trip and fall. Tomorrow(or should i say today) i'll be meeting Suzu after her work to get my black shoes.

Today i woke up at 9.30 and got ready to go out while my dad went to get the car. We went to the John little sale at Singapore Expo. The Espirt stuff there were really cheap! I wanted to buy this blue sling bag that costs 39.90(usual price 79.90) but my Dad said no because i recently got new bags. So, i only bought one shirt and underwear.

I was suppose to meet Sam at her house at 12 for steamboat but i didn't know we would have taken so long. From Singapore Expo, we drove to cold storage to get the wine and a leg of lamb for Christmas supper. Then later to Giant to get fruits and vegetables. After that, we headed home and arrived at 2.

Soon i'll be going to my Grandmother's house. Today's desert is fresh mango pudding which Aunty Lyn will be making.

I received a call from Korina at 1.30, asking me to switch off my computer and go change. Although i didn't know we were going out, she was already changed, so that left me with no choice but to obey. Out of pure randomness, Korina decided to invade Ling Kai's house and have a picnic there so we went shopping at the supermarket and then the drink stall to buy Ling Kai a coconut so she would let us in.

In the evening, i went out to meet Nan-Li at TM. We were looking for a job. So far, Art box pay is $5/hr, Sakae Sushi pay is $5.50/hr on weekdays and $6/hr on weekends and ice lemon tea pay is $4.50/hr. (Θ_Θ)

Good evening~!

My day started in the afternoon. Hehe. I woke up at half pass 12. At 3.30 i met sammie in the bus. She was complaining how the bus uncle made her show him her card. And guess what! He made me show him my card just after i tap. So fine, i passed him my card and he stared at it, then tried to tap it again. Ummmm... Hello! i just tapped it right in front of your face and there was sound to add in case you didn't see as well. Throughout the bus journey, he asked 3 more people to show him their cards as well. All of them happen to be teenagers, does he have something against teenagers??

We met Ms Tan at Tampines MRT and headed to the mercy relief booth. They were having a concert and needed people to help. So they asigned Samama and me the job of handing out balloons and asking for donations. Althogether, we gave out more than a hundred balloons and filled the whole tin with donations. At first some guy said we wouldn't be able to fill the whole tin but in the end we did! hohohoho. He was supprised and asked us to fill in some form in case they need our help again. Lol.

At 6, we left the area and wanted to go to expo. But, i got us lost. Haha! First we walked to the bus stop at the side of Tampines Mall. We wanted to take 12 but we realised there was no number 12 bus passing through there. So we walked further down to the Holy Trinity Church and there was no 12 again. So we had to cross the over head bridge and take a bus stop at N2 and then cross the overhead bridge again and take 12. In the end we got so hungry, tired and sweaty. All thanks to me. Hehe. (X_X)

We reached hall 9 of Singapore Expo at 7.30. and we went to take our measurements. Lets just say i became a lot more fatter. So after everyone's measurements were taken, we had a briefing. All our magician training days is on wednesdays and Sundays.

After we were done with the expo, we went to the Night market (Pasar malang) and ate a lot! It has been extreamly long since i've been to one! Oh... Guess who we bumped into! It was none other than Natalie Pasaribu. I haven't seen her in one year plus. Well.. glad to know she's still alive.

Bonsoir!

Today i woke up at 1.45. I don't know why i was so tired. When i woke up i was so bored, so i called nan li and sam out to in-line skate. At first sam couldn't go course the part time maid was at her house. But she came to my house later with eunice. After they came to my house, we went over to nanli's house and cleaned it. So in the end we didn't go inline skating instead we went to sammie's house to eat milo ice cream. She had 13 cups of it in her fridge. =.=

After sammie's house i went to grandma's house. Aunty doris was there! She makes the best apple pie. However, she made Pavlova. It is meringue dessert named after the Russia ballet dancer, Anna Pavlova. It was my first time trying it and expected of aunty doris, it was so good.
But she said the meringue didn't rise enough.

I walked home form grandma's house with Eli. I had to scold him because he kept walking behind me like some stalker. So freaky. Don't know why he can't walk beside people.

Yesterday i went to cut my hair!! Eli dosen't like it. Ian says ok. My dad said it suits me. All different opinions. So which is which? oh wells. I went out with Jerry for dinner. We ate Chinese! Haven't eaten Chinese in such a long time. After dinner, we had ban and jerry's ice cream!

Oh. Finally my internet is up and working again. So is my house phone. For the Past 2 days i couldn't use the internet or the house phone. So since there was nothing to do at home when i came back, I asked sean if he could pass me midnight sun by Stephanie Mayer. He agreed so i went to use the laptop to download it(he used someoneelse's internet). That woman got sooooooo angry she banged the iron down. Then when on for an eternity scolding and nagging. Whats her problem la. But of course sean hates getting scolded or even disagreed with and he lashed out with his poisionous tongue.

I finally dyed my hair today!!! Yay~! But i hate the colour. You know how the colour comes out darker than it actually should be. Well... Mine didn't! It came out the exact colour of the box. So it looks super weird on me. I'll change it next week i guess.

Tomorrow i'm going to chop off my hair! Cutting it short.

Hey~

Today I went to school in the afternoon and had accounts until 3. Ms Tan set off the alarm. She forgot to take her hard drive and had to open her office door, in the process of doing so, the alarm went off. In the end, her hard drive was in her bag. Lol.

After accounts Ri chan and me went to tm to get her hair dye. She bought the hyou milk tea beige dye. After a huge debate, she went to cut her hair at shunji matsuo. Now her hair is a bit shorter than mine. She cut her fringe too. Its much better than yesterdays.

Went to my grandmother's house at 8 or so. When I came into the house, they were cutting the lemon meringue pie. It was Delish. The bottom part was made of digestive biscuits and ginger biscuits the second layer was the lemon custard. It was a bit runny though. The top was meringue(egg whites and sugar). It reached a perfect peak. I wonder how she gets it every time. I totally failed at it, making it too watery.

So yes. thats it for today. I'm going to play my game now~

12 00 - Met Nariko at her house and took a 12 to tanah merah
13 00 - arrived at tanah merah MRT station. Saw Sharifah and Wenya. They were suppose to meet there at 12, but they push back the time to 1. such a coincidence meeting them there.
14 00 - Siglap Starbucks. Met haseenah, Sarah and Kyrsten.
16 00 - Nan chan and me went to parkway parade. Bought my hair dye, underwear, umbrella, prezel, hair clips, rubber bands and vitasoy.
19 00 - Met nan li's father at cold storage and went to pick up hui feng and went for dinner at changi village. Ate crabbie ^.^*
23 00 - Came home and boast that i ate crab. My brothers boasted that they made lemon meringue pie. However, i still get to wat it tomorrow! =P

Just came back from Suzushima Residence.

Today nanli, Wenya and me went jogging around the condo and gym. After that Wenya went home and kei kei joined us for a swim. Kaede didn't swim cause she threw away her swimming costume. =.= according to her it was ugly. After the swim we went to the suana.

I watched kaede make the japanese sweet thingy.

Dinner was spicy curry and rice. After dinner, nan chan helpped me cut my fringe. ^^

After i left the condo. I realised that kei kei's phone was in my bag. So i went back and tried calling but no response. I went to the bus stop and took a bus i thought was 39 but actually it was 59. Alighted at the next bus stop and saw 3 possible busses i could have take. In the end, i took 17. On the journey, the bus driver suddenly switched off the lights! There wasn't anyone else on the bus at that time so i guess he didn't see me. Lol.

Just came back from the airport.

At 9, Rachel came to my house. She told me that my dad opened the door and stared at her for very long before realising that she was my friend (i was in my room changing). So we went to study at the community centre.

At 2.30, i met Nan De Ri. I was late by 30 mins. Hehe. We went to Bugis where she had her tution. For some reason, her tution teacher sold his room that they used for tution. So she had tution at Hans near the national library. I waited for her there as well, eating a chocolate banana cake while i did an english article writting. I highly recomend the cake~ Delish. =)

After her tution, we were walking around and found a great place to study (I'm selfishly keeping it a secret =P) We went to the airport soon after to meet her mom. I bought Collagen water by
pokka.

There was a maths mock exam and it was easier than our prelims. Why didn't we get that paper for our prelims instead?? Oh wells. Sam wanted to stay in class during our maths mock exam, but the bladdie teacher didn't allow her too. He was like no, you will distract her. If that's the case we'll seperate our tables then. However, he still insisted on opposing. After that he was if you're not taking the paper you will have to leave. Sam was pissed and left. Oh wells.

Just came back from samimi's house!

There was a miniture party at sam's house today. Her aunts and uncle came and ate dinner. After dinner her dad served white wine which was a sweet. And after the wine, there was sake(rice wine). The taste was rather unique, it was warm and the texture was smooth. Sam and her aunt said it tasted like nail polish. LOL. Her other aunt said that high grade sake tasted like water with a tinge of rice taste.
All of our faces were rather pink/red and hot after the drinks, but if i may add, Sam's and Oswin's faces were the reddest. Thankfully they weren't drunk or that drunk in sam's case.
Sam! I hope you won't get a hangover tomorrow!

During english lesson today~

We were going through the english paper 1 free writting essays today; reading the scripts of those who scored high. There was this perticular essay. The girl wrote on question 4: Write abount an occassion where you gave up something but regreted after that. This girl, she wrote that she game up her university fund(her hard earned money) to her father whom recently lost his job. However, instead of looking for another job, he became an alcholic and a gambler, and even found a misstress(who she refered to her as a 'whore' in her essay). Nothing wrong with that. However, her ending was very abrupt. i quote " Until he contracted HIV from that whore and died. at least he would be useful now. Fertilising the soil in the graveyard." Moreover, before ending her essay, she mention that its alright that her father used up her university fund, she can earn it back. How was that regretfull? However, i have congratulate her for coming up with an interesting endding and making our class laugh.

I went to sleep at 3 am this morning and thought i could wake up at 5, in time to get ready for school. Well.. I did wake up at 5, but i wanted ten more minutes of sleep so i put my alarm on snooze. However, my alarm did not ring again and so, i woke up at 6.35 and smsed sam telling her i overslept and asked if i could take her mom's bus to school later in the afternoon. After that, i went back to my dreamless sleep. I woke up to elena's sms, asking me why i wasn't in school and later, i found out that sam did turn up at school too.. Apparently, she had a hung over from the wine at her birthday dinner held at a french restaurant in sentosa(her cousin is a chef there). So together, we went to school. Instead of sneaking out this time, we had to sneak in. Again, we used our secret teleportation device: samantha's uncles bus! Due to our highly advance technology, we made it into school without getting caught! We went up to class during accounts(today was shirely yong) and our classmates were like "now then you both come,". oh my.. haha. at least we came! Today we got back most of our results.

Graduation day!

Today is the day 2008 graduation classes are graduating!That means we don't have to come to school anymore! (since our attendance is already keyed in)

Preparation

I went to meet Sam, Cheryl and their mom at macs for breakfast before doing our hair. At the hairdressers, they washed and then style our hair. The woman who washed my hair practically had her nails digging into my scalp. While styling my hair, she used an abundance of hairspray and pins. Halfway while doing our hair, Rachel, Wan jing and Sureen came in! Rachel was doing her hair with us while sureen and jing was doing it at the other saloon beside ours. When rachel was doing her curls, her hair looked really nice, like a doll! After the stylist was done with my hair, sam and me abandoned Rachel(sorry rach.. we had to fix our make up)and took the bus back. People were staring but hmph who cares. I have high self esteem so your goggling won't affect me it just boosts my confidence(LOL). At sam's house, i did my make up as sam had clare doing for her and we left!

At School

Sam and me reached school at 12.55 and found no one there as we were suppose to assemble at 1.30. It felt weird for a while but people were starting to come in. So yes, we assembled and marked our attendance. Next we went to take our overalls. After taking our overalls, we were made to wear them and the assemble in the festival court which by the way was an open space. It was about 2.45 and it was scorching. So from 2.45 till 3.30 we were made to stand in there to wait. Obviously, complaints were being shouted out and almost everyone was in a fowl mood. (scorching day = sweating + melting of make up) Therefore, hot people are angry people. After waiting, we made our way to the hall and sat down. Fast fowarding the speeches blahblahblah. After the ceremony, my dad became annoying, he said and i quote because i came here with Samantha, i have to leave with her. Didn't make any sense, and that ruin my mood. Like excuse me, you left stright after the ceremony and if i have to come by her transportation mod and leave by it what was the point in you coming? Thanks to you i had to trouble the innocent people. Anyway, the ceremony ended and next was the class picture taking, hopefully the pictures will come out amazing. After that food and drinks were served but we spent most of the time looking for people and posing for the camera. Rachel, Jess and michelle left so abruptly so i don't have any photos taken with them! (Jess told me on msn that her dad stole a cab from an indian family. はは)And after our photo taking sesion, i went back to samimi's house and took more pictures. 2 days ago (september 19 2008)

Well.. I went to school today, only because i thought samama was going. As i woke up late, i was rushing out of the house and guess what, i left my toast in the toaster when i went to school. So just imangine a toast being cooked for an hour or so? That left me with a huge black mess to attend to and no lunch. Great start for the day.

In school, about half of the class did'nt come. How i envy them getting more sleep. So i told Samama "See la! I only came because u came." Samama's reply was: "huh?? I only came because i thought you were coming!" So.. since neither of us wanted to come, we planned an escape mission(We had youth mission which was extremely boring)

Escape Mission

As you may know, Samama's mother is the bus attendant and her uncle is the driver! Samama contacted her mom and told her we wanted to flee, her mom said okay, we will be in school at 12.15, no earlier. Thus, when the youth mission people said we can have our lunch break from 10.55 to 11.55, we went down with masasa, clare, jess and michelle. However we didnt tell them our plan, so i guess they did'nt know what was going on when we did'nt follow them up. Between 11.55 and 12.15, we hid in the toliet and the bookshop. Then at 12.15, a problem arose. We realised that Sam's uncle's bus was at the primary school side and we had to walk there avoiding suspicion(we were carrying our bags, how supicious is that!). So sam's mom came to the bookshop to take our bags and we walked to the primary school via the back of the sunken foyer way. We made it to the bus and sat at the back. However, we had to advoid the security guard in the security post at the gate as the bus passed by. Because sammie's legs are short, she could make herself shorter when sitting on the chair, and i sat on the floor. And hurray we made it out of school with the next destination being my house.

When sam and I reached my house, my dad was at home(he took half day leave for the stove guy to come) and said "juliet, how come today your home so early?" My reply "I was let off early on good behaviour." So after grabbing my stuff and changing, we went to samimi's house.
